Early Voting This Week for District 2 Special Runoff

Early voting for the district 2 special election is happening this week, November 27 to December 1. The special election will be next Tuesday, December 5.

Residents in district 2 are choosing between Bruce Holmes and Neat Robinson for county commissioner. Neither candidate reached 50% of the vote in November. The winner will serve the remainder of the term, or until December 2024.

District 2 Special Election Early Voting

Residents can cast their ballots at the following locations:

  • Merle Manders Conference Center, Stockbridge
  • JP Moseley Recreation Center, Stockbridge
  • Fairview Recreation Center, Stockbridge

Early voting is open at each location each day this week, Monday through Friday. Hours are from 7 am to 7 pm each day.

Voters who wait until election day must cast their ballot at their regular polling place. Hours will likewise be 7 am to 7 pm.

District 2 represents portions of the Dutchtown, Fairview and Stockbridge communities. Following the special election, the district will be on the 2024 ballot for the regular four-year term.
