Earlier this year, Henry County approved a grant application for Willow Lane widening among other projects. Its back to the drawing board to figure out next steps after the county’s applications did not receive funds.
The city of Hampton also had an application not selected. Almost all of the selected recipients had applied for a loan; whereas, local entities sought only a grant.
