The latest site plan reveals new restaurants coming to the Bridges at Jodeco Road development in Stockbridge. The council will also consider this fall a request for a second apartment complex.

Bridges at Jodeco is located at the southwest corner of I-75 exit 222. The property consists of 156 acres.

New Restaurants at Jodeco Road

Headlining the development will be a new Costco location. It has an expected grand opening in November 2023. But also coming will be Sprouts and several other businesses, according to the new site plan. Altogether, here is whats on the horizon:

  • Bahama Breeze (Caribbean)
  • Bank OZK
  • Chick-fil-A
  • Chipotle
  • First Watch (breakfast & lunch restaurant)
  • Hacienda Bar & Grill (Mexican)
  • Salad And Go
  • Starbucks
  • Valvoline Oil Change
  • Whataburger

Several brands above — Bahama Breeze, First Watch, Salad And Go and Whataburger — would be opening their first Henry County location. In addition, the Chick-fil-A is reported to be a first-in-the-nation concept with four drive-thru lanes. The building itself will be two stories with the drive-thru lanes underneath the building.

A timeframe for the various restaurants to build was not readily available.

Second Apartment Complex

Finally, the developer is seeking a modification of the site plan to allow for a second apartment complex. Such request would bring the total number of apartments to 524 units. This includes 306 units at Argento at Bridges, and 219 units in the second project. For comparison, the original Jodeco site plan had 615 apartments. The Stockbridge council is scheduled to consider the developer’s request in October.

Separate from the apartments, Bridges at Jodeco can have up to 135 townhomes. One-hundred of those units are under construction now.
