The new BJ’s Club in McDonough will be opening in late February 2023. The store is located off highway 81 in the I-75 exit 218 area.
The 104,000 square foot building will reportedly open on Friday, February 24.
BJ’s Wholesale Club McDonough
BJ’s Wholesale Club previously had a McDonough location, but it closed in 2011. Now, the company makes their return to the Henry County city. The new location is adjacent to Dave & Buster’s.
Customers can purchase a discounted store membership now before the club opens. Memberships are currently available for $25. This offer ends on February 23. Afterwards, a regular membership costs $55.
An on-site membership center is also open for customers to sign-up. Those interested can visit the center located at 245 Highway 81 West, McDonough. Hours are Monday–Saturday 9 am to 6 pm, and Sunday 10 am to 6 pm.
The new BJ’s store will create about 150 new positions. Those looking to learn more about becoming a BJ’s team member can visit BJs.com/careers.
Final work to open the store is happening now, such as completing the BJ’s Gas station. Construction began one year ago. The store will be accessible via multiple drive-ways along highway 81.
