Building Permits up 20% in first half of 2022

During the first six months of 2022, Henry County local governments issued 1,620 housing unit building permits. This represents a 23% increase over the same timeframe in 2021.
About 60% of new construction is located within unincorporated Henry County. The rest is shared among the county’s four cities.
