Voter turnout nearing 75,000 before final week of early voting

Voter turnout continues in large numbers for the November 2020 election, according to the U.S. Elections Project. As of Sunday, October 25, a total of 74,605 Henry County registered voters have cast their ballots.

The number of voters to date includes 22,100 ballots accepted by mail and 52,505 early voters. An additional 18,395 absentee ballots have been requested, but not yet returned to the county office.

The final week of early voting is available from Monday, October 26, through Friday, October 30. Early voting sites are open from 7 am to 7 pm at the following locations:

Henry County Elections Office
40 Atlanta Street, McDonough, GA

Merle Manders Conference Center
111 Davis Road, Stockbridge, GA

Fortson Library
61 McDonough Street, Hampton, GA

Locust Grove Library
115 MLK Jr Blvd, Locust Grove, GA

Fairview Recreation Center
35 Austin Road, Stockbridge, GA

JP Moseley Recreation Center
1041 Millers Mill Road, Stockbridge, GA

Voters may participate in early voting at whichever location is most convenient for them.

Election Day next Tuesday, November 3

Voters who opt to wait until Election Day must go to their assigned polling place next Tuesday, November 3. Polls will be open from 7 am to 7 pm; anyone in line when the polls close will be allowed to vote.
