Henry County approves building purchase for new elections office

On Tuesday, October 6, Henry County commissioners approved the purchase of the former Fred’s Pharmacy in McDonough. The building will be used for a new elections office.
The county will purchase the building and two-acre property for $1,725,000. The seller will credit the county $65,000 following the close of the sale, expected on October 26.
