BOC approves construction for West Village Parkway widening

Henry County commissioners awarded a construction contract on Tuesday for the widening of West Village Parkway, formerly known as West Panola Road, in district V. The project extends between Bailey Drive and Fairview Road for a distance of 1.28 miles.
The low bid was awarded to CW Matthews Contracting of Marietta, GA in the amount of $6,472,287....
