Second COVID-19 fatality reported in Henry County

The Georgia Department of Public Health has reported the second fatality as a result of COVID-19 in Henry County. The number of confirmed cases totals fifty-six (56) as of Sunday, March 29, at 7 pm.

Statewide, there are 2,683 confirmed cases resulting in 83 fatalities. We express our condolences to all those affected and the families that have lost loved ones. They are in our prayers.

Georgia DPH updates their daily status report at 12 noon and 7 pm each day. Henry County residents may visit https://www.co.henry.ga.us/Residents/COVID-19 for the most recent information regarding the county government, closures and cancellations, and health resources during the Coronavirus pandemic.
